HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

1)  Hostel Accommodation will be given to the students on the request of their parents not staying in Buldana. However, students continuing their courses, accommodation may or may not be provided depending on the availability. For detained students or for shortage of attendance, hostel accommodation will not be given.

2)  In case of serious illness or infectious diseases a student may be asked to leave the hostel to stay with the Local Guardians / Residence.

3)  No advance on any account will be made available.

4)  Hostel students should be as economical as possible in the use of water and electricity. Students should switch off the light and fan when not in use.

5)  Students will be held responsible for the damage to the room property (i.e.) fan, furniture, fittings and fixtures etc provided. They will be held responsible for any breakages, repair or loss caused to hostel, mess and school campus property. In all such cases the students will have to pay the cost of such damages as fixed by the hostel in-charge/administration in addition to expulsion from hostel and action to be taken against such students.

6) The warden, hostel In-charge will supervise and control the students in the matter of accommodation, discipline and general conduct and he / she will enforce the rules laid down in these matters from time to time as required.

7) No day-scholars, women/men, visitors/guests will be allowed to pay visits to the hostel without prior permission of the Warden / Hostel in-charge. Any students found to violate these rules will be expelled from the hostel immediately on the spot by without notice and no hostel accommodation will be considered till he/she completes the course.

8)  Students are not allowed to stay in the rooms between 8.00 a.m. and 3.30 pm. on all working days.  Permission to be obtained in writing for any reasons to stay back in the hostel during working hours.

9) Visitors to the hostel inmates will be required to enter their names and address and the name of the student whom they want to see etc in the register kept with the duty security guard at the school entrance. They will not be permitted to enter the Students rooms in the hostels. They can meet the hostel inmates at the hostel main reception area only.

10)  Tampering with electrical wiring or fixing any electrical lightings or other fittings in rooms and common areas will be viewed very seriously and those involved will be expelled from the hostel without notice and penalty also will be levied.

11)  Students are not permitted to use any other electrical and electronic equipment.

12) Students are not permitted to stick posters/ formula/pictures of any type (including God and Goddess) / painting / drawing or writing on the hostel walls.

13)  Students are not permitted to break open their room lock or cupboard and cause damage for the hostel property. Only maintenance staff are permitted to take remedial measures in case of loss of key or otherwise.  In such case students should inform warden to initiate action. In the event of violation of above rules by inmates they will be expelled from the hostel.

14)   Students are not permitted to keep mobiles, heavy jewellery expensive things & cash with them and the school will not be responsible for their loss, theft or missing items, sports material, knife, sharpened, items.

15)   Rooms must be vacated immediately after the institution closes for vacation. Rooms should be maintained in a clean and tidy condition and open for inspection at all times Students cannot claim to stay in the hostel during vacation period. Permission may be given for such a stay in any special case by the Principal / Warden on the written request of the student.

16)   RAGGING / HARASSMENT / QUARELLS / MISBEHAVIOUR / SPEECH EMBBARASMENT in the hostels will be viewed very SERIOUSLY. Hence, it is advised to abstain from all anti social activities. RAGGING IS STRICTLY BANNED BY ORDER OF HONOURABLE SUPREME COURT. POLICE CASE WILL BE REGISTERED AGAINST THE CULPRITS. School will hand over those indulge in ragging to the police after preliminary enquiry by the Anti Ragging Committee. Hence, all the Parents and Guardians of hostel students are advised to make note of it and advice their wards do not indulge in ragging in any form as classified under Anti-Ragging Act of Govt., of Maharashtra. The school will not take any responsibility for any police action based on the above act within the campus or outside the campus.

17)   In such case culprits will be sent out permanently with cancellation of admission T.C. will be sent by register A.D. (Post) without informing parents.

18)    CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL AND SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. IN ANY KIND       ANY ONE FOUND INDULGING IN SUCH ACTIVITIES WILL BE EXPELLED IMMEDIATELY FROM HOSTEL SCHOOL WITHOUT NOTICE.

19)   Students should not violate dress code in the mess/rooms, around the hostel areas and in the campus.

20)   I am fully aware of the attendance percentage to be maintained by me which is minimum of overall 75% and in academics minimum 40% in individual subjects. I assure that I will attend my classes sincerely and effectively. I am aware that if I am unable to maintain this above percentage of attendance I will be detained from appearing in the TERM END EXAMINATIONS.

21)    DINING  REGULATIONS:

i)   It is compulsory for all the students in the hostel to have their meals in the dining hall itself and no food should be taken into the rooms.

ii)   Hostel students are not permitted to bring their personal items like pickle, chutney and other eatables to the dining hall. Students are expected to have their meals between the prescribed hours only. No late comers are entertained. The hostellers shall practice good behavior come in proper dress to the dining room and maintain the decorum of decent dress code at all the times.

iii)    Non-veg is  strictly prohibited in the school mess & school campus.

iv) No students /  parents is allowed to enter in the mess kitchen / store or stand near pantry without prior permission of the Mess Manager.

v) Damages - breakages & loss of utensils, spoons, glasses,  bowls,  tables,  chairs,  benches in the mess by the students will be penalised as per the rules & regulations of the mess by Mess Manager.

22)    Students are not permitted to keep any kinds of sports material, sharpen items (things) with them in the hostel.

23)   Reporting time :

            *     After any short / long breaks (vacations) students should report back to the hostel (School) in between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the given dates of reporting.

            *     School gate will be closed by 4:00 pm.  Parents / students are not allowed inside the school campus after 4.00 pm.

24)   Misbehaviors with the school staff by the parents or students will be dealt seriously.

25)    In the school premises ill-practices such as blind – faiths, superstitions, black-magic & hypnotism etc., will not be entertained at any cost.

26)   This kind superstitions behavior / nature has no value in the 21st century. (Modern Age)

27)   Students / parents are requested to develop scientific temperament in all aspects.

28)    Parents are not allowed to see the wards except parents visit day.

29)   Parents can call their wards on telephone on prescribed days & time table, for five minutes.

30)    Students should take care of all his personal belongings (uniforms, stationary, sports material, books, note-books, shoes, socks, undergarments, keys etc.) by his own.

31)   Students should inform regarding such loss of belongings to Hostel I/C  or Dorm warders for the further action.

32)    School is not responsible for the students who are going and coming to school by their own.

33)    Students should not leave the school campus at any cost without the knowledge  /  permission of the school authority.

34)   In Such case, school will not be held responsible if anything goes wrong with the ward.

35)    Parents should try to convince & counsel such wards during their phone-call day in this regard.

36)    If the ward participate in school teams (CBSE / State ) at Taluka / District / Division / National level in different sports / games events, the expenses of the same will be charged on the student’s account.

37)   Unfortunately for any minor/ major injuries in the hostel, school or campus, school will not be held responsible. students.

38)   No doubt, expert coaches are always with the students during the sports activity to take at most care of the

39)   The students are not allowed to keep any valuable jewellery, electrical appliances, cell phones, cash, electronic items, cameras, medicines or any other risky article with them. If found, they will be retained by the school and a fine will be levied on them. For the luss of such things school is not responsible.

40)   The girls are not allowed to go out till an authority letter from the parent is produced with the signature of the escort attested by the parent.

41)   Relatives or family friends will not be allowed to meet the students unless they have proper authority letter from parents.

42)   Parents can visit their wards in the hostel on the specified days only.

43)   Only those persons will be allowed to become the local guardians who are local residents and live in a family environment. No  student will be allowed to become a local guardian to a hostel student.

44)    Parents / Guardian must come to school to take their children to home. Phone-call and sending someone for this purpose is not allowed.

45)    Boarders will not be given any leave to attend whatsoever ceremonies, functions, and domestic pooja’s etc. without any written information,  which should be duly sanctioned by the Principal.

46)    Parents / Guardians can visit their wards only on the notified visiting days which is marked as Visitors Day.  however one has to confirm with the Academic Calendar (Sahakar’s Almanac) released for the concerned academic year to know the exact visitor’s days.

47)    The out-pass must be collected from the hostel warden, if boarder is taken out by parents.  Parents are required to send their wards in time, after any vacation or break.  In case of delay in reporting, a fine may be imposed, if intimation about ward’s sickness or any urgent requirement is not received by the school.

48)   Any cash transanction should be done in the school Account office only.

49)    During reporting in the hostel soldier Hair-cut is a must.

 

Nursing Dept . :-

  1. A) For any minor medical problem of the students our medical (Nursing) department will admit the ward in the Nursing room. Otherwise, the ward will be sent for further treatment to the Hospital at Buldana with the advice of the School Doctor.
  2. B) For major medical problem, medical department will inform the parents for the further medical treatment at the cost / risk of the parents only.
  3. C) Parents are to remit the medical expenses.
  4. E) Parents are requested to inform Nursing Department about the medical history of the ward while he / she is being admitted in the hostel.

 

Requirements for hostellers :-

1)         Locks – 04

2)         Civil dress – 04 Pairs

3)         Under-garments - 04 Pairs

4)         Hanker chief – 04 Nos.

5)         Towels  - 02 Nos.

6)         Bath kit  - ( Bath soap, Hair – oil,  comb, small mirror, Liquid hand wash, washing soap, Nail cutter, Vaseline, Lip Guard etc.)

7)         Bathroom Slipper – 01 Pair

8)         Sandals  – 01 Pair.

9)         No valuable / costly items (wrist watch / silver gold – chains or rings)

10)       No electronict / electric items.

11)       No money / cash If any, can be deposited in the tuck-shop account

12)       Limited eatables (Dry fruits, biscuits etc. healthy food)

13)       No oily items.

 

Phone Discipline

1)   Be specific and brief.

2)   Please be aware that the other anxious parents must be waiting in Queue.

3)   Your soft words will mean a lot to us Usually students are not allowed to call the Parent / Guardian over phone from school as it is practically not permissible. The use of Mobile phones within the campus by students is strictly for bidden.  Deliberate violation of this rule could lead to expulsion of the student.  Phone calls will be allowed only on the specified days.

4)   Parents may note that the school will not be able to make their wards available on phone other than the specified phone-call schedule.
